Alexander Tinei’s work shows the emotional course that we all have expressed/experienced throughout our lives. The use of blue resembles the cold feeling presented in his paintings to set the mood for the viewer, however for me its not just the colour representation that makes me connect with the painting. It is how he has used it. He highlights the features in where the emotion is captured. Unlike other paintings, his unique style of destroying storytelling features of the body allows his paintings to hold more feeling. Due to not involving expression from the face, which we are used to reading, it allows the viewer to become more mentally involved and figure out what story each person holds.
